Hacking Question Captain Toad patch 1.2.0 needs 7.0.0?

Literally I just had this same problem with a different game & my search brough me here. I installed an update nsp which is compatible with 6.2 but after launching the game it keeps asking for an update. Deleted update with dev menu and installed nsp with SX installer 1.5. Now it works.

Mine is v131072 and it works perfectly. I'm using SX OS Emunand 6.2.

Don't mean to go off topic from the question at hand but how do you know which game updates you're running?

I'd like to know which version of the game my Mario Oddysee is on or which 'patch number'

Go to game icon press + button. Update version is in the corner or click information & it'll give you version number.
