With Crapcom's various recent and wonderful decision, is this surprising anyone
Wow, you must be devistated that Megaman Legends 3 was cancelled to say that. Especially as the avid Megaman fan you are...

They have just become out of touch with their market. I believe their sales would pick up if they just listened to what the people want from them. I really don't understand why they won't listen.

Yes I was kinda livid at that, but I am also speaking of the whole "one save" thing they did.....Not smart, but yeah you are right. Listen to the people

I can't help but think that if they made a SF2 Ultimate (mega super edition with all the freaking characters they could muster from the SF2 series) for the regular DS that they would have had a crap-load of sales. But no, of course they wouldn't do that. It makes too much sense. Why would they make a GOOD game for a system with MILLIONS of systems already out there? Oh right, piracy, yeah, uh-huh. BS! Good games sell, crap and mediocre games don't sell nearly as well. This is a proven fact. Piracy isn't anywhere near as rampant as they would have you believe.

How many of you bet that if they would have made an SF2 game for the DS that is would have sold like crazy? That's just ONE game, how many more could there have been that they never bothered to make that would have sold?

Do they really think that just because SF4 can't be done on the DS that a SF2 Super Hyper Ultimate Turbo Mega Plus really-good-this-time with WiFi play wouldn't sell on the regular DS? They can't be that stupid can they? Oh wait, I guess they are, as no such game exists. Hmm....

That's just one of the many successful games they COULD have made on a system that has outsold everything else on the market, but they didn't, did they?. It's their own damn fault for their losses. Sometimes, ignorance is NOT bliss.

Time for Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition Extended Hyper Combo Championship Deluxe edition: Remastered, Ultimate MvC3: Console edition Plus, and Resident Evil 6. All for this year! Oh yeah! DLC CHARACTERS DLC COLORS, AND DLC GAMEPLAY MODES, NEXT UP DLC ONLINE MODE. DAY ONE DLC YEEEEAAAAHHHH

Capcom is dead to me anyway. Their recent business tactics and decisions have gone too far, and I refuse to support them. Call me when the next Devil May Cry gets to be developed by Platinum games.

Maybe if they would actually put their games on sale for more than 50% off during Steam sales so the old games people might buy would move, they could generate some sales. So Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry 3, & 4 all regularly priced $20 with Dead Rising 2 $30, would actually drop to the sweet spot of

The company also reported a 37 percent decrease in sales, but despite that, their net income increased by $4.35 million. Basically, it sounds like Capcom as a company is still doing pretty well, and their fighting games are selling at a nice pace, which is good news for us in the community. So Sales can drop but in the end the out come of net year might be down but they net in come is what the big part is. So in the end its mean that they drop. And you still cant blame Megaman on them. Sorry

This is what one of my asshole friends had to say when I posted this thread on my facebook. The reason why he is an ass cause he thinks Im upset with the company mainly cause of MegaMan. Unlike some Im not just focus on their decision of MegaMan....Their decisions have been piss poor period

They were able to move less units, yet keep a huge profit

Either I missed something, or most of you did

Capcom isn't doing badly, even tho I dislike their Disk Locked Content strategy, it's probably one of the reasons they are able to net such a huge profit selling less units

Bringing Megaman back will take them back to their rich days.
Or not.
They'll most likely murder the series with another game because they simply do not want to do it.

Next thing you know, they'll officially announce that they're canceling the Monster Hunter series.

Then Capcom would probably die in a fire.

maybe they need to stop being crapcom and doing greedy business models, like charging people a shitload of money on DLC just for "COSTUMES"

DLC = shit that was already on the game from the beginning. but ripped out to charge people extra

(thats right Scamaco...i'm talking about your Soul Calibur IV DLC)

back to capcom...we need Megaman Universe and Megaman Legends 3...the fans are just BEGGING for another Megaman game....

Capcom Ruined it with Megaman Starforce...totally changed the battle system with a 1X3 area..and they made 2 other unpopular spin offs to boot.

maybe capcom needs to make an 3DS game LIKE Megaman Battle Net- *ah shit they ended that* :facepalm*

yea anyway back on topic..

with profits with screwing people over with DLC and SUPER SPECIAL AWESOME OMG ALL COSTUMES AND ALL THAT OTHER BULLSHIT THAT MOST PEOPLE ALREADY PAYED FOR MEGA "FIGHTING STREET" versions, (Dr. Ashens popstation reference) IV XD

...they could care less about this.
