On the other hand, all the new characters were meant as DLC characters.Master Mo said:TBH I`m still mostly looking forward to the upcoming 3rd Strike: OE. I always thought SFIII is overall the best SF game. So really I don`t think they need to make a whole new SF game til 2013...
I also found it very good how they handled the release of SSFIV:AE (wow, what a name!), since it good a disc- and dlc-release, so they weren`t really forcing the people to buy the game all over again if they don`t choose to! I think they should have done the same thing with UMvsC3, since the whole Fukushima-argument is bullshit and they are really kidding themself if they think anyone buys that...
$5 per character (based on Jill and Shuma) is $60 total for 12 characters.
Instead you're paying $40 total for a new disc, every single character (including Jill/Shuma if you didn't buy them I believe.), the rebalance (which is more than number tweaking, characters got new moves and such), and added features/fixes like spectator mode.
Ends up being cheaper this way.
Even cheaper if you sell off/trade in your copy of MvC3 while the value is still reasonable and use that money for UMvC3.
