A while back github remove support for TLS 1.0/1.1 which broke a lot of auto updaters you need to update manually by launching fbi through the homebrew menu via the 3dsx version and installing the newest fbi cia file

Well then update again with the newest version ! The last update may have failed, FBI doesn't say shit when that happens and still launches the old version normally ! Make sure you go through the .3dsx version to update the .cia though

got the same problem, fbi is on 2.5.0 for me too. i also replaced the old fbi file manually too
dont think theres much of a solution at this point

He jumped parallel universe / time line due to the Mandela effect. Where he's from, FBI is at v3.0.0, GitHub TLS worked a little longer than ours but stopped too (when he tried updating), and a definitive 3DS successor was announced at their E3.
