Hi. I had rxTools (with 9.5 firm) on my N3DS XL a while ago. But I did a clean setup to install Reinand and then I noticed that I couldn't make my old savegames work this way.

So I tried to restore my EmuNAND backup that I made before formatting, but when I try to boot (doesn't matter if I try it with rxTools or Reinand), I get a black screen.

Also my SysNAND is exactly as it was before, I've restored it with Decrypt9.

The main reason why I want to do this is because I don't want to lose my save data.
Were you using menuhax? If your current (before you started changing anything) emuNAND and backup emuNAND are different versions, you'll need a new payload for menuhax. Delete the menuhax stuff and it should boot again. Then you can reinstall menuhax.

Did you make before to format emunand a backup to the sd card (or Nintendo 3DS folder)?

try restore emunand.bin with emunand tools 1.3 from pc

Try the 1.0.1 version of the tool it throws errors when selecting the file but it works for me for restoring.

Yes, I forgot to mention it. My SD card files are in the same state that they were before doing this mess.

Ok, I'm gonna try it.

Edit:
That tool only allows to inject NAND.bin files to emuNAND, or at least that's what it seems. It doesn't work with my EmuNAND backups.

Don't use 1.0.3, it doesn't let you inject nand.bins, use 1.0.1
