can't load into emunand after updating

I followed this guide: to update from an older firmware to a newer one

It was all perfectly fine until the very last step, when i updated the emunand firmwaren from 14ish to the latest one.

now i can boot into hekate but after i select emunand nothing happens, i get a permanent black screen. I can still manage to boot in sysnand and original firmware.

Any help will be greatly appreciated because im at a loss rn

i did follow rentry's guide alongside it to double-check, they did the same stuff pretty much. I know not to trust videos to 100% degree, it's just handy to have visual aid as well.
