Hi,
I can't load any payload on my switch... The screen stays black when I load a .bin file.

The switch is in RCM, TegraRcmSmash/TegraRcmGUI is detecting my RCM device, APX driver is installed, but when I try to load any bin file, nothing is happening, the switch screen stays black.

Anyone has the same problem?

I believe this is just a problem with the current Hekate files, try re-downloading them from the github, and see if that solves your issue, this happened to me when I messed around with that Auto CFW Boot Hekate Paylod whenever I used a invalid splash.bin, seemed to help me, figured recommending it was worth a shot.

I tried everything but i didn't work, I use TegraRcmSmash non GUI version to have a log and this is what the TegraRcmSmash window is saying:

D:\Switch\Test_Fusee-gelee>TegraRcmSmash fusee.bin
TegraRcmSmash (64bit) 1.2.0-2 by rajkosto
Opened USB device path \\?\usb#vid_0955&pid_7321#6&2d0b29e0&0&4#{f6f4c97c-ed65-4352-bd2a-a8fd3d89fd52}
RCM Device with id 0003010F00000004C905326401101062 initialized successfully!
Uploading payload (mezzo size: 124, user size: 38168, total size: 104384, total padded size: 106496)...
Switched to high buffer
Smashing the stack!
Smashed the stack with a 0x7000 byte SETUP request!

And I have a black screen

I use the official USB-C to USB-A cable, tried on both USB3 & USB2 port

What Firmware version are you on? Have you tried something else then fusee payload. Like hekate? Can you try it on a different pc ? Try a different USB cable? Have you had screen issues with your switch? Have you had Linux running on your switch? How do you enter RCM with a jig or soldered solution ? What other kind of tampering have you done with the device? Ever opened it up?

Need to narrow down what might cause the issue...

Also make sure you are using a USB 3.0 port on your pc.
This is not true, I only have 2.0 ports and they all work.

If the screen is black still and tegrasmash Is saying that it sent it means there was an issue with your computer staying connected, try different ports, reinstall drivers, use a different usb c to usb a. It happened to me once and it was because my pc had bad ports so i stuck it in different ones

I had the same problem using TegraRCMGUI with USB3 ports on my machine. Would say payload loaded successfully but switch screen would stay black. Using USB2 ports worked. If your machine only has blue 3.0 ports check the BIOS/UEFI to see if theres legacy support enabled or possibly disabling 3.0 functionality or something along those lines. If not I'd look for a PC with 2.0 ports or see if you can use an android device+USB OTG adapter to load the payload.

It doesn't work on windows for me.
Try with a Android device or Linux distrib

i am having the same issue now. i had this running last night on 5.0.2. when i got up, my switch was at 5.1.0. now i cant get the send the payload. i should note that i have booted into CFW and HomeBrew dozens of times successfully on 5.0.2 and updated all my sd files and payload to [hekate_ctcaer_2.3] as of yesterday. Everything worked better than ever. Until this morning, now that I'm on 5.1.0.

UPDATE: ok so i tried out TegraRCMGUI. I have it working now, but that wasnt the issue. I had a large Windows update last night, and somehow APX Driver was lost. TegraRCMGUI detected it was missing and reinstalled it. 100% Working again!
