Homebrew cant install CIOS

Hi im trying to downgrade my wii from 3.3e to 3.2e

but every time i try to install the custom installer rev5 i get this message

[+] Installing Custom IOS, Please wait . . .
>> Installing ticket. . . ERROR! (ret = -2011)

also if i try with installer rev3 i get the same message

i can load up Custom IOS downloader v1.0 and it will load and choose 3.2e

it comes up with this
[+] Installing system menu, please wait. . .
>> Installing title. . . ERROR! (ret = -1035)


if i try Custom downloader v1.1 or v1.2 it just restarts the wii doesnt load at all iv checked my wad files are in my region and i dont think i have any other CIOS installed i tried with anything deleter but that had an error as well

im using Homebrew channel beta8 and have a wiikey 1.9g (i think as the wii key came preinstalled it looks like a wiikey but doesnt have any logos) can anyone help?

I'm guessing you have the CIOS51 update, in which case you are for the moment screwed. Without some form of IOS with the signing bug, you can't install any unsigned code (including cIOS). Marcan is apparently working on a new exploit, but for now there is nothing you can do.

i think i must have as when i look in anything deleter it have IOS 51 in the system section cant delete it either :-( i guess ill just sit tight

Sh!ty i have IOS51 on my wii as well. I format the wii memory, and I still cant install any cIOS or edit anything. But i do have HomeBrew...
Also cant install any .wad

Any fix for this yet?? I cant run any of my backups ;{
Is there a way to run backups without the cIOS?

Ya i get "failed -1017" for cIOS
Also the same WAD error as you ">> Installing ticket... ERROR! (ret = -2011)"

.... google is at a loss for this as well. Tho there are topics on it no one seems to have fixed it.



I think we have to wait for an update or something till they fix this. I did a full format of the SD Card/Wii and followed djtaz's "How To" guide...TWICE sux i rly want to make backups work....

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
