Hacking Cant Install Bootmii

Hi everyone, my first post, I get a lot of help from this site and for the first time i cant find an answer

This is whats happening. Im trying to install HBC but once i open Letterbomb this is what it says

SD card detected
Opening boot.elf
boot.elf not found (-1), tryibg boot.dol
boot.dol not found (-1)
USBGecko not found
No code found to load, hanging

i have downloaded the corect files with the corect MAC many times and formated the sd card as well and still nothing.

anyone know what the problem is? and how to solve it?

You already answered it yourself...

You did not put the HackMii installer in the root of the SD with the correct name, or some obscure corruption of the card is preventing it from being loaded

and how do i put hackmii installer? i have done the same thing with a bunch of wii and i never had this problem

Have you tried a different SD card?

well... no its an adapter with a micro sd its 8gb

it has it, the boot.elf and the private folder, it might be the sd card or adapter but if were not working properly it would not load the files on it, right?

It could have a bad sector where the directory entry for boot.elf happens to be (as unlikely it could be)...

Trying a different card, preferably one reformatted with the official SD Formatter, would be a great idea

Or maybe try a different exploit, like the new str2hax?

Not sure but the sd card has to be below 4 gb

I use a 512mb for example as 4gb and higher never worked at that Installer. At least for me

no it llooks like to me that the boot.elf is in the hackmii installer folder from attach. put it at sd:/boot.elf then it will work

i use a 16gig micro in an adapter and works fine the boot.elf needs to be with the iplXXX.bin files on sd card not in a folder to work

Try a SD Cardless hack like Flashhax(You Can find it in sticky threads)
