I have a r4 clone and it actually works very well for straight game play. i have seen some people complain about the happybox version and while it does seem to load slower and everything i dont have too many issues with it. except with some games it decides to black screen when loading Action Replay cheats. so i am looking for some new software to use. i have sifted through the downloads and gone through the forums and cant really find anything that will work. my software currently does not have a TTmenu folder. so every R4 custom software guide and such i come across will not work.

these are the folders and items i have to place in the root folder
_system_(folder)
moonshl2(folder)
_DS_MENU.Dat
_ds_menu.sys

anyone know of a custom software guide that can assist me in replacing this software? thanks in advance for any help

Judging by the .sys file, I'd say it's a DSTT Clone. Try to use YSmenu with RetroGameFan's updates.
Can you give us a screenshot of the UI and the cart?

here is a picture of what it looks like right now

is that under the r4 section? i downloaded retrofans pack but cant figure out how to use it right. im use to that ysmenu programming doing it all for me

first of all thank you all for your assistance. but while it works and takes m,e to the ysmenu and everything. some of my games including pokemon white and black wont load i am getting unsupported DLDl Name, is there a way to fix this or do i have to wait for a update?

I'm not sure exactly what that means. It could mean that it doesn't work for your card or that you may be using the wrong setup. If any of the other setups can't be installed or don't work then I'm sorry I couldn't be of help. :-/

the games its denying work fine with my cards original software its just the cheat system for the original software doesnt work so, i guess oil play these games the old fashioned way
