Hardware Can't figure out whats wrong with wii.

I was playing my wii wiht my friend the other day and in the middle of braw it froze. I didn't think anything of it cause i've had problems b4 so I just shut it off. I tried it today and it starts to spin the disc like its gonna read it but then it stops with a d.r.e. Why would that happen? I had a modchip it in but I took it out cause I thought that's what the problem is. But it didn't help any suggestions? You've guys have always came through for me b4.

Whoa, you took out the Wiikey? Did you make sure the drive is screwed in all way? Maybe you have to unplug the Wii itself...

I tried that both times still nothing... (with turning the power off)I'm not sure what it is. I did it over night both times.

cant read any disc at all. no origionals or backups...

Maybe theres a problem with the lens, like it could have probably gotten dirty or it died.

Okay i took my wii drive apart and adjusted the pot it seemed to read the wii disc a tad better but I couldn't get it to work is there a way for me to send this to someone that can fix it? ANyone know a person who fixes wii's?

Same thing happened to me after playing brawl, just send it to Nintendo they will only charge you $75 to repair it.

Nintendo themselves has admitted that using double layered games like brawl wears out the lens. I don't think the wiikey is the problem.
