Hacking Cannot update Mario maker

Using the wiiutools site and the GUI nus grabber to get Mario maker updated but for some reason it freezes upon load with no luck for quite some time. Am I doing something wrong?

Super mario maker is also asking me for an update to play online stages, i will try to deal with the wupinstaller tomorrow, but damn... at least i can still play my game :S

it keeps wanting me to system update and i cant get the installer to install the update i do have with the new wiiutools site ...sucks... Should I delete the update? Now I'm getting preparing update messages followed by unable to find WiFi since I changed my settings....ilk wait for now idk what to do

I blocked the urls way long before the 5.3.2 was the standard (i updated it from wind waker update to super mario remix update) = 5.3.2 after that i just waited and yesterday got the spoofer (5.5.0) and also the (only patch?) for super mario maker but now is asking for a new one and with this new drama about "oh noesss it is stolen... and it will brick" i will just wait abit again, better be sure and not to be butthurt with a broken console

Mario Maker wants the 1.01 launch update, thats the error you get when launching the game with the Spoof'd 5.5 Firmware.
Its ok to have Nintendo URLS blocked via router or whatever.
Download NUSGrabber and NUSGrabberGUIv1.6Update1 (this one has a simple to use interface with a drop down game selection)
Launch NUSGrabberGUIv1.6Update1 and wait for it to load titles.
Click game update and find the mario maker game in the drop down, make sure u select your region
Click download, takes about 5-10min to download all files.
They will be saved in the same folder as NusGrabber, it will be called 0005000E1018DC00
Once down downloading, select all files inside the 0005000E1018DC00 folder and place them in your SD card inside your install folder, only contevts of 0005000E1018DC00 belong inside the install folder on the SD card.
insert card in wiiU, power wiiU on.
launch browser and refollow steps you took for the Spoofer, only now wait 20-25mins for the files to install blindly.
Reboot WiiU and play your updated mario maker game

The problem is I can't load the update removal link or any if I run wup I should still get kicked back like clicking the home button right? I get a freeze right off the bat when loading wup

save bookmark of wus installer
reboot
launch browser agian in sd card inserted, select bookmark nus installer
should kick u out to settings menu screen, select internet browser icon at bottom of settings menu page, click bookmark again, it will boot you to settings menu again and press home button to wiiu home menu, wait 20-25min, reboot, play

I keep using nusgrabber and only getting 1.01 downloading over and over. Still 130mb file.

Let us hope that the new update is not for blocking spoofed firmwares. Will be interesting to see if other online games, like Mario Kart, get a patch in the comming days)

Did anyone happen to recheck the manual after this new update? It wasn't working on 1.01 or whatever. Probably still doesn't but worth checking I guess.

It's an issue with 5.3.2. Likely a reason 5.4 was included on disk with the game since the manual includes videos and unlockable codes for the game.

Anyone having issues. I do find that the original NUSGrabber posted by Crediar worked better for some reason I had problems with the compiled GUI and updates. I tested both and the GUI with downloading updates seemed most times not to install the update to the wiiu but the original NUS no issues did it every time, so yes try the original release if you think you maybe having problems with updates with SMM. It might be a glitch with the GUI I really don't know?
