Hacking Cannot skip game update?

Hi everyone!

So I tried playing my backed up Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time on my Wii but, when I run it, it displays an error saying that the game won't work, please refer to the Wii manual. I asked my friend and he said that FFCC: Echoes of Time does an update before running. I tried erasing the update partition with WiiScrubber but it still shows me this error. How can I play this game?

Whats the error it gives? what method are you using to boot it? Any idea if you are missing an IOS the game uses?

It says that the game can't be started. I'm using Gamma Backup Launcher and in the options, I say "yes" to "Force NTSC". I'm nearly sure that it's not an IOS problem but can I be totally sure?

Scrubbed games aren't dependable. You should really avoid them.

How did you know it was scrubbed? Yes, it is a scrubbed game. So there aren't any other solutions except having an unscrubbed copy? I don't have the .dif file so I can't unscrub.
