Hacking Cannot play Zelda on Gbsp

I have tried running Zelda: link to the past on psp using gbsp but it just says 'file 1's data is corrupted', does the same for 2 and 3 then will not let me create a profile. No crashes or freezes and Minish cap is just fine. Is there some setting I need to change? I am on my 3rd rom and all were the same.

I seem to remember this problem from running the game on ezflash cart on gb micro some years ago. Something to do with Sram or memory. Anyone know the fix? I can only find reference to minish cap on the net but that works fine.

did you try deleting the save game files, and/or make sure they are not copy protected...

only unmodded USA rom confirmed working i think

I cannot seem to find a ROM that is specifically US (or unmodded).....
