Hardware cannot play gamecube backups with wiikey 2

hi all.

back again with another problem that i cannot sort out.

i have a 3.2u system with a wiikey 2 and hbc.

i cannot for the life of me, get a gamecube backup (pikmin2) to work.

i get as far as the wii recognizing the disc as a gcn game, but when i try to load it it flashes green and then nothing.

i have tried the wiigator loader even.

i have installed so many IOSes that i am beginning to wonder if that is keeping the wiikey from operating properly.

all of my wii backups work perfectly, except final fantasy chronicles (or something like that).

any ideas? thanks in advance for the help!!

Sounds like a bad burn. Try another game? Mine work fine on my Wiikey 2.

yeah, i've tried 2 burns and still no luck.

i am burning @ 3x speed.

i know that it isn't the media (sony dvd-r), because i burned the new play control pikmin for wii just fine.

If it's only about that game you might want to wait for the New Play Control version which is supposed to be released for Wii this year. It won't really help you, but still.
