Are your GX settings set to use IOS58? If so, try changing to 249.

Also make sure you are using the latest version of @blackb0x 's mod of GX (see his signature for link, or get it from ModMii)

To clarify, are you trying to install WADs or rip disks?
install wads and i managed to make it work thank you but now i can't open some games like monster hunter tri (it doesn't really matter since the disc i have is still in almost perfect condition and i barely even played it when i was younger)

also it crashes a lot when i try to open some channels that are on emunand

if i wanted to install some dlc how would i go about it?

i heard i can use wiimmfi to open the shop channel and download the ones i already had in the past is this correct? (still it seems a bit complicated so i may not do that)

If a game doesn't work try changing the game specific options from ios 249 to 250

Do games crash from your emunand when launched via neek instead of GX? You may also want to share your settings, I. E. Full emulation, partial, etc

I don't think you need wiimmfi for the shop channel to work in terms of downloading previously purchased content. I'm not sure if they fully closed up shop or just shut down new purchases

uhhhhhhh

i don't think i'm using neek? sorry i don't fully understood what you meant i'm still new to this

NEEK is the software (almost) everyone uses for any kind of emunand. But it has several different ways to run. In most installations, you can boot your Wii fully into its emunand, using neek2o, and see your emunand System Menu, and launch its items the same way as normal (installed-to-real-nand) Wii channels.

You can also run items installed to the emunand from your USB loader software.

The question is, does that first way work to launch the wads installed to your emunand? If the first way doesn't work, the second almost surely won't.
