
I was just thinking of doing that because I don't want to eject the sd card risking a brick in the sd card and I believe it can even brick your system because it's cfw if I'm not mistakenYes, but I wouldn't recommend it, as it takes a while compared to just inserting the SD card into your PC and updating that way.

If your WiFi network is WPA 1/2, ftpd will only work from the DSi SD card slot.
Otherwise, you can run it from a flashcard as well.

The brick risk only occurs when you install Unlaunch, which is an optional part of the guide.and I believe it can even brick your system because it's cfw if I'm not mistaken
