I've got a PS4 laying around collecting dust and I thought it would be fun to Homebrew/Jailbreak it. Is this possible on Version 6.02? If not, is there any way to restore previous versions?

No no firmware above 5.05 or 5.07 has an exploit in public and you can not down grade

Nope. As mentioned 5.07 is the highest version you can run HEN on, and downgrade is not possible.
