Hacking Can super slim be hacked?

Trying to hack a friend's PS3SS and after a little researching and failed attempts, I read that it can't load backups. Is that just for PS3 games or can anything be done with it at all?

how can it be lower then 3.55 when the super slim model just came out awhile ago its would have shipped with a 4.xx firmware

My sister bought one and it came with 4.20 OFW, it won't hackable for now.

You must me mistaken, super slim PS3 will not have that low of a firmware installed. My PS3 slim came with 3.50 official firmware, 2 YEARS AGO.

Is that just for PS3 games or can anything be done with it at all?

There is something you can do with it, use it as a door stop.

Or, you know, use it like any legit user would. Play PS3 games, play BluRay movies, use PS3 apps (like NetFlix or w/e), and all the other features that PS3 has.

For now ps3 that had pre instaled fw >3.60 can't be hacked this includes all 3000 model and all super slims. But soon there is going to be a solution for all models. For anyone whose intention is only piracy (for homebrew i dont think there is going to be a solution soon )

Do you mean Cobra and 3k3y? I still wonder how they are going to dump the drive key on Slim and Super Slim. Without drive key it is not going to work.

I'll believe that when it's released. Until then, I'll file it under the same category as the 3DS hack - "interesting rumours, wait and see".

I've read that it requires soldering to get the keys, but as Originality said: it's just rumours for now, just wait and see.
