Just installed atmosphere with the sdsetup website but applet mode keeps starting (I have Zelda cartridge and used R while starting it up) I thought great applet mode is gone but when I go into a Homebrew app, applet mode starts again, should this happen? I'm very new to this. Also got tinfoil from sdsetup but I'm guessing it's not latest version as I can't do anything on the app. My other issue is quark won't connect to my switch properly after using zadig method, quark starts up but doesn't say sucefully connected so I can't do anything on it, I've tried everything.. can someone assist me? Would be great thanks

if you don't see applet mode at the top right of homebrew menu ifs in full ram mode but once u go back to home menu u have to repeat to do it again
Press the home button to get out of anything and if that fails to hold 15 secs power button

did you select the patches in the sdsetup menu go here it will preselect (patches are needed for things like tinfoil/goldtree)
https://sdsetup.com/console?switch#...ydump;gptrestore;lockpick_rcm;atmos_sigpatch;

you will also need to run the payload "Lockpick_RCM" for the nand u use i would suggest making a emunand and full backup first before doing anything. the payload will generate a file prod.keys rename the file to keys.txt and add it to the folder of things like tinfoil,goldtree, etc

I did get the sigpatches do I need to transfer them into gold the leaf,tinfoil like the prod keys? Already made all the back ups, thanks

sigpatches stay in the amtos and bootloader folder and loaded with the cfw

you need to rename the prod.keys too keys.txt (in file explorer>view make sure file extensions show) so u can see and change it. then yes place it in the folder of tinfoil/goldtree
you should keep backup of it too
and you need to create a new one for each time you update to a new firmware because each firmware has its own masterkey and u need it for games that require this firmware

also u should use emunand if u care about protecting your switch id for online
