Hacking Question Can it be done? method to send controller inputs from PC to Switch

I am looking for a tool to send controller commands to the Nintendo Switch via USB or some other method.

My vision is to allow someone to...
- Remote into my PC (RDP or VNC)
- Start up OBS
- Remotely control my Nintendo Switch to host Splatoon 2 lobbies
- Control sepectator mode from Windows 10

1/2 of the above is easy to do but I am missing that ONE last thing which would be to send controller input from Windows 10 to the Switch console.
Had anyone found a method to do this?

I know there is a method to draw splatoon art with a janky andrino setup, but looking for something I will not have to tinker with to much.

It's 100% possible, you just need to make a custom USB HID driver which can output the Hori commands, and a frontend to interface with it.
Maybe @shinyquagsire23 can help you with this.

Basically need to build an adapter and then send commands as seen above.

Not sure there is an easier way. Likely the Hori HID.

You could also just buy a cheap USB gamepad and modify it soldering some relays/optocouplers to the button contacts on the PCB and controlling those with the GPIO from a raspberry pi.
That would be my easy no-think solution. That works, unless you want to think.

Then plug it into a capture card then you can make a pokemon switch shiny bot.
