That controller doesn't have an analog stick, thus it wouldn't work with many N64 games, as most of them use it.

Yea. You can map the analog to the D-Pad, but really that controller doesn't have enough buttons.
I have that exact controller and N64 with it isn't very nice.

THIS SINT ILLEGAL I OWN THE ORIGINAL GAME!

Do we care?

Not only that, but in a previous topic he acknowledged not dumping the ROM himself, but downloading it from some ROM site on the Internet... so it IS illegal after all xD

lolz

Owning the game doesn't give you the right to pirate it. Yes you paid for it, so dump it yourself for personal use.

Yes it will work, pretty much any USB controller will.

Will it work well? Look at an N64 controller, then look at the crap you're showing us. Does it seem like it will work well?

Even making your own back up is considered to be not so legal. It depends on which way they interpret it in court (depending on country) on whether it is legal or not.

Bla bla bla he/she shouldn't have stated such a thing in the topic name nor in the fipo. Project64 can be used with your own backups and with homebrew most likely. Regardless the question if hardware xy works with Pj64 has nothing to do with the actual use of it. As for the compatibility, as long as Pj64 has a key binding system and your controller can act like a keyboard it should be fine. The C and direction sticks though.....

Yeah that is what i meant you need a analog stick and another for the C buttons personally i use the xbox 360 pad for windows and it works very well plus you can use it with all the Xbox360 Windows ports and all the other emulators like MAME, ZNES ..ect. Just make sure you mod the D-pad because it sucks otherwise http://www.ufighterx.com/guides/videogame/.../360dpadfix.htm

My god then, whys is this kid even bothering with emulators if he doesn't even know what piracy is, they only shove it the start of movies now.
