to some how back up and then update the emunand to 9.2x to use the spider ar codes on a 3ds xl with 7.1.0-15u ?

you can backup emunand with the emunand tool. If you want to update it to 9.2.0-20 you can use 3dnus to download the update and then use a cia installer to install it. you don't need pasta for that.

i keep getting 0xD8E007F7 when trying to update to 9.2 when using 3dnus update with fbi/sysupdater

    At one point PC game pads where poorly supported, loading a game had setup, it was complicated. Now it's almost as easy as a console.
