So I want to see if I can run a certain game so I can get it and enjoy with friends......But I don't want to spend $50 big ones and I can't run it (and unfortunately I can't pirate it). So I go to Can I run it site and on internet explorer it refuses to work and on Firefox it does nothing........Is there any other way to check to see if I can run a game other than 1)Take a chance installing it or 2)figure out all my laptops system specs and compare them (hassle). Any ideas

find out why CAN IT RUN site does not work and retry when you fix it!

you need to be able to run ACTIVE-X scripts so enable it if its disabled and you also need to ACCEPT and INSTALL the IE addon when prompted when you first visit the webpage

1)I tried enabling active scripts but when I go on the website in IE it just stands there and does nothing. It doesn't even ask if I want to install the script

2)The game I want is Guild Wars......I can pirate it, but I need that access code shit to play.

Well I play Guild wars once in a while, the first version, and ive seen it run pretty well on quite low spec machines.

Why not install the game (one way or the other

), and use one of your friends password and login to give it a bit of a test?

Your laptop specs will be printed in the laptop instruction manual, usually in a nice easy-to-read table. (or try googling for the manual with your model name/number if you've lost it).
