Hacking Can I rename dlc pkg?

I keep getting these pkg files that have all of these random string of characters for name, this becomes a problem when trying to install a bunch in a row... is it safe to rename them or will this mess up the installation/.rap verification?

yes. the content id is what's important, and it's inside the encrypted files as well as the pkg. you can actually find it in hex.
