Gaming Can i play 3ds multiplayer with dsi?

I try few games like Mario Kart, Zelda 4 Swords and multiplayer don't work. May be i must change any network connection?

Assuming you are using DS or DSi software, yes. Make sure your wireless is on. If you are trying to connect with the 3DS, make sure you click "NintendoDS" instead of "Nintendo3DS" when you go to download play.

Then you just put a copy of whatever game you wish to play into each system and start it like normal (as if both systems were a DSi).

Damn, well if both of them are DSi ware and your wireless is turned on, I don't know what could be the problem then. They SHOULD be able to connect. Sorry I can't help you bro.

Yes, i am sure. Wireless is ON in DSi. Yellow and blue light is on.

Well that's interesting, I have the same problem than you but my 3DS is NTSC USA and my DSi is PAL, so I thought this was the cause. But maybe not if you have the same problem with same region DSi/3DS...
If you manage to make it work please tell us how...

When i set host on DSi my 3DS see group but don't connect. When set host on 3DS, then DSi not see any group. Maybe broken wi-fi on my DSi becouse download play don't work too. When i use 3DS and old DS downolad play work OK.
