Hacking Can i load a regular wii game disc in Gecko OS?

Can i load a regular wii game disc(not a burnt one) in Gecko OS, so i can use cheats?

does it usually work with burned discs?
does the burned disc must be modified with the cheats or some loader on the disc? no?
then why shouldn't you be able to use original discs?

GeckoOS is designed to boot retail disc, so yes it works. (couldn't you just try and see by yourself?)
burned disc works if you have a modchip.

Maybe your modchip is interfering with retail disc detection?
solution 1 : create an ISO of your disc and burn it?
solution 2 : USBloader (but needs softmodding and installation of files). GeckoOS is better to boot games without altering the console's internal files.
