Hardware can I hard mod a wireless charging pad into the o3ds non-XL?

Probably, since the 3ds doesn't have any data lines in its charger, it just kinda draws power. So if you connected them to say the pins for the charging stand, you'll probably get something to the effect that you want.

This may not be what you're looking for, but the o3DS (non-XL) originally came with a charging cradle. I still have mine and use it regularly; still works great.

They seem to be cheap online, so I would highly recommend picking one up.

Yeah, I was looking at it but what I really want is a Qi pad for actual wireless charging.

Is it risky to do this? I don't have money to replace my 3ds if I screw up the solder points.
