depends on how sharp the blade is, but you could probably hack them even with a butter knife if your persistent enough

Happy Mac, depends on the architecture. I bet you could hack them, as in putting a better OS on it, but I don't really think you should... MacOS is really neat and you should probably save it. I have a Macintosh Classic, it's the bomb even with how old it is.
