Doubt it, I've been using it for a while and haven't seen any bad results. And there have been no other reports of any bricking.

that would surely depend on where you got it from and who made it......."a CFW rop loader(not a specific one)" could certainly mess up a system to the point of bricking if it wasn't made properly/safely, basically dont just run random launcher.dat files unless you know the source is somewhat reliable

but if you mean the one that was leaked, that one seems pretty stable and uses a form of emunand so in theory should be pretty safe to use
