Use Wine. It allows most Windows apps to be run under Linux or OS X. Or use a virtual machine.I need a Mac compatible game maker for the DS so i can use computers... to make games!

No. My dad would NEVER let me install wine on his Mac Pro. And also no again because I am not allowed to use Paralells Desktop on his computer.Use Wine. It allows most Windows apps to be run under Linux or OS X. Or use a virtual machine.

I am eventually gonna get my own computer in my bedroom, which means i might be able to install windows XP on boot camp someday.Hmmmm... The only software I know of that would meet your needs is DS Game Maker, but that's a Windows tool.
Either:
a) get your dad to allow you to setup a virtual machine in Parallels or VMWare Player
or b) get your dad to let you install Wine & Mono (Mono is a version of the Windows .NET framework for Mac. Many programs, including DS Game Maker require this framework)
or c) just code the game from scratch in C and/or C++. The compiler, at least, /is/ available for Mac!
Alternatively, you could use a Windows machine.
Also, nice name. You go on the CBBC website?
The school i go to is a fancy online one.Can you use a school computer? Do you have to use your dad's?

I'm in 4th grade.
Also, i am not actually 13.
I am 10 years old.
Harsh....Then go do your fucking homework and get out of this forum
Don't attack this guy just because he's young. For his age he seems to know a lot of technical information which a lot someone can ask a 10 year old. I admire his desire to learn, it reminds me of my younger self. Then go do your fucking homework and get out of this forum
Most tools on this forum are windows only. As a circumvention (linuxmasterrace user here) you can try to run Windows instead.I need a Mac compatible game maker for the DS so i can use computers... to make games!

Or to get prepared for using Linux. I had a Mac (now it's my backup PC), and having Terminal knowledge, no matter how basic it is, will help tremendously when running Linux.Contrary to popular belief, macs are cool. Ask @ihaveamac. Macs are good for application consistency
