Hacking Can 6.60 Pro still access PSN?

I have a PSPgo coming my way and I'm putting my own backups on it (such as crisis core).
Can I still acess PSN to download PS1 games? I already own a few and would rather buy them again then to deal with using pops if I don't have to.

if you are going to use 6.60 pro on a psp go then it's not a permanent cfw its a lcfw and yes you can download ps1 games from psn. i have ff8 on my psp go that i bought at Christmas when it was on sale

LCFW mean that every time you fully turn off the pspgo it "un"hacks itself until you run the 6.60 pro fast recovery program then your psp is hacked again

Ok just wanted to be sure. I saw that there's a 6.61 Official Firmware and was unsure if that was mandatory or not for PSN acess.

There's no 6.61, the notice is just there in case Sony comes out with a 6.61. I did that notice for all the updates, then Sony suddenly stopped updating... but as the PSP's still technically alive in many countries software updates for it can't be completely ruled out (like the DSi got 1.4.5 after a long break and after the 3DS was already released).
