Hacking call of duty black op -problems?

I have a backup of COD Black Ops, loaded onto an external hard drive but whe igo to load it though a back up manager it just goes black any fixes? It is a eurpean version i believe because that is all i could find or some reason. I ahve a usa ps3

Delete update files you downloaded and when it says to update you say no it keeps coming up just keep saying no very annoying but it works
