Hacking Calander

The calander is horrible! I didn't see a way to disable it in the options under the start menu - is there a way to take it out?

Some themes have the calender removed if I remember correctly

The actual box for the calender is usually part of the upper screens background image so even if the numbers are switched off you would have an odd looking space with the days of the week showing.
Should be able to turn off the numbers in uisettings.txt found in the themes folder.
Find the calender parts and put show=0.

Best way for you i think is to take the upper image and change/edit to another.

Cut out a piece of paper the size of the calendar.
Tape above paper to the screen.
Enjoy.

Now that's what I call out of the box thinking.

heheh. thats good. personally i use the calander and clock all the time. i'm glad its there, the top screen is useless otherwise, except if maybe you wanted to make your own theme that consisted of 1 large image of some hot girl laying sideways.
