Gaming Cable TV - VGA/PC

I have to VGA monitors in my bedroom, one for my xbox and one for my PC, they sit side by side. I want to run cable TV to my room without having to buy a TV as well, what cheap alternatives do i have? I need either a cable-tv - VGA converter or a TV tuner card with TV-in connection for my PC, does anyone know of some semi-cheap ways i could do this?

You absolutely need a tuner. Probably ATSC/Clear QAM. You can find 'em for about $30 and up.

well dunno if this suits you, but you can buy one of those TV inputs that you can put in your PC.

i dnt have much experience with these so spare me the details, i only remember mine stopped working since i moved country, and it was a different region or some BS of the sort.

Hope this helps your possibilities; i mean these tuners do go for cheap; but then again a adapter might be cheaper.
