I found it much harder to get the expansions to work.

There was a User on here that posted a link to German Language versions that work perfectly. If you want them in English you have to mess around with the .MIX files and repack them with the correct language.

Took me about a month to get everything working properly in English.

Heads up - this is broken as of FW16.0.0. vanillatd cant get past the Westwood Studios logo without a crash (no error report, just a frozen screen). Vanillara struggles immensely with the mission intro videos and also crashes. Skirmish (or add-on missions without video intros) work absolutely fine however.

Tested on 15.0.1 EmuNAND and didn't encounter any problems at all.

Fairly sure the .MIX files are copyrighted assets, unless someone is able to tell me different?

according to wiki the first three games of the series have been released as freeware to promote the successors.
