Hardware Bypass Xbox One setup update on August 2016 OS.

I bought a reformatted xbox one.
The os version is 10.0.14393.1027.

This is not a day 1 console, but last updated in August.


I cannot get past the setup screen which makes me download a 3.3GB update.
I would like to keep this Xbox One on the lowest OS I can.
I was hoping to just pop in my Xbox One game and play.


Any suggestions?

i'd say probably not connect it to the internet when setting it up

There wasn't an option anywhere to bypass. It forced me to update to the very latest version!
Not very cool. I even tried doing an offline update up one version to see if that would bypass it, but it still didn't.
Yeah, I don't understand it. I wish I could have stayed where I was.
