Hacking Burning software

I have a nec sony dvd drive in my laptop and a samsung dvd drive in my laptop {both are burners} Now i was wondering what software i could use to burn an iso to a dvd-r and make it a dvd-rom imgburn dont work it only supports dvd+r so if you have gotten dvd-r discs to work mind telling me what you used/did

ImgBurn should work with DVD-R, it works here.
Uninstall and download the newest version and install that one.

You can't bitset DVD-R to DVD-ROM.

You shouldn't need to though... it's only really old hardware that requires it.

Bitsetting has little to do with your software btw, it's all about the drives.

Hmmm... so what do you suggest me do i have a sony nec drive and a samsung drive both burn.. which should i use and anything i should do special these arent working so far and its making me mad peoples saying they have to be dvd-rom

They most certainly do not need to be -rom to be read by a wii.

Try different media, some dyes don't play nicely with some wii drives.
