Hacking Burning Problems

Ok
So I have a Pioneer DVR-115D (external drive in an enclosure, dunno if it makes a difference)
I use Taiyo Yuden 8x's and burn using Imgburn

I tried burning Final Fantasy Fables .... (whatever the full title is) at 4x and DVDInfoPro tells me its quality is 65%
and at 8x I get 15%

Any suggestions?
And this happens with most burns, I just gave an example.

And I am getting some DRE's on certain games because of it.
