Hacking Burned DvD+RW's?

I burned an iso to my DvD+RW and tried loading it through a backup launcher
but it says it's unable to read disk or no DvD

I'm on 4.0U
Do I need to install a cios so it recognizes DvD+RW?
Or are RW's not compatible at all?

I believe +RW are not compatible with Backup Loader

I found this in the Q&A thread:

Q : In Imgburn - what option do i select to burn when using a DVD+RW Disc ?
A : Second one on the list in the options in your drive type

So I must've hit the wrong option to burn?
If I did I still don't understand the answer.

DVD-R is the best one to use. The best compatible is Verbatim Dvd-R.

I have been unable to find a way to change the booktype aswell.

I'm using a Memorex DvD+RW and there were no options to change it to DvD-rom

Then buy DVD-R disks. They only cost a couple bucks for one. Just get Memorex DVD-R. Works fine for me. Or get a USB hdd and use USB loader

Problem is that I just bought these today and I can't return them now that I've used them.
So I'm trying to make use of what I have.
