Recently I've received about $300 for my birthday coming up and I'm thinking of building a cheap, quality PC. So I went to the Newegg DIY section and found a pretty good DIY combo for $292 and I added a somewhat good GPU along with it coming at a total of $367.98. So I was just wondering how the good the specs of this PC is for this cheap. The specs of it are:

Intel Core i3-2100 Sandy Bridge 3.1GHz LGA 1155 65W Dual-Core Processor
4GB DDR3 RAM
LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
1TB 7200RPM SATA HD
Case with 500W PSU
GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) 512MB 128-bit GDDR5

The link for the DIY combo is here
and the GPU is here

ATM I don't really have the time to research as school is starting so I figured maybe GBATemp can help. So how is it for a $367.98 PC? I'd like to think it could play some new games on low-mid specs but would love a second opinion.

Thanks guys!

Its good for now. You might want to upgrade into GTX460 1GB when you have more funds.

I notice it is using Seagate HDD. Normally I would advise people to avoid Seagate, but since it is a combo deal, I'd say take it. Don't store important data on that drive though.

I've already got another HD in view instead of the Seagate which I should be able to nab in a month or so, so I should be all good there. Luckily I've got a 500GB external I can keep all my important and personal data on there. So basically for a $367 PC it's pretty solid? Awesome

Yeah. Your PC is good to go. Core i3 2100 is a very good gaming CPU. The only thing that is holding back gaming is GT440. But like I said you can always grab GTX460 1GB (not 768MB) when you have more money.

You are good to go.
