    Between these two retro gaming methods, which do you guys prefer? I really love the various emulators on 3DS, they're well developed. What do you guys like between RetroArch on Switch and the "Bubbles" emulators on 3DS?

    Why wouldn't you want people to discuss retroarch on the 3ds and the bubbles emulators?

    What's the point for this comparison? These are two different consoles in all aspects (Switch is newer and has better hardware features by far).

    The point is that I'm considering moving my retro library to Switch, whereas my current handheld retro go-to is the 3DS.

    Switch is way more powerful than 3DS and its Retroarch cores are based on more recent versions of SNES9x and the other emulators.

    EDIT: Also:
    - You can use shaders;
    - PS1 emulation is a lot better;
    - GB emulation supports Super GameBoy (using SameBoy core);
    - Switch has more buttons = you have more hotkeys (fast-forward, rewind, fast save etc.)

    Interesting enough, the GameBoy emulator for Nintendo DS supports Súper GameBoy pretty well, why is that they never made a version for it on 3DS?

    Actually now that I think more about it, mGBA for 3DS also supports SGB, I think, and that's a fairly accurate emulator.
