Homebrew Browser Question

Is there any way to get my DSLite to acknowledge the other security (Wpa or Wep, not sure which one...) via hacking, a homebrew, or modding?

Also, is there a download link to the latest DSBrowser someone can drop to me?

I believe that the security limitations are hardware issue (and its WEP that is recognized btw).
DSBrowser as in the homebrew browser right, since I'm sure you know very well that you aren't supposed to ask for warez.

This is correct. The DS/DSLite cannot use WPA at all, period.
The DSi/DSi XL cannot use WPA on DS games/homebrew, WPA is only available to DSi Ware (not DSi enhanced games) in full DSi mode.

Soo... What you're saying is that for anyone who wants their internet protected, they can't play any wifi games or use the internet via ds.

You can use a white list and you should be just fine. There is also the option of using the WFC dongle.

WPA isn't that much more secure than WEP...
And WPA2 can be cracked pretty easily too.

If you want security, you don't use WiFi.
There are things you can do to make it more difficult than it's worth to connect to your network, like disabling SSID Broadcast and using MAC filtering (I think this is what liquidnumb meant by 'using a whitelist'). Neither of which are security measures: You can still detect the access point without the broadcast and spoofing MAC addresses is dead simple, but combined with WEP (or WPA2 if you don't need the DS compatibility) makes it that much harder to find.
If they're looking to hop on to someones internet to do something, there're going to pick an easy target.
If they're looking to get on to YOUR network specifically, they're going to be able to even with WPA2.

Even though (I'm pretty sure) 3DS will have backwards compatibility with DS, it STILL won't be able to run the DS games in WPA/WPA2 because the games weren't made that way.
