Gaming broken PSP

so my friend crashed his psp (not physically i think)
and when i offered to buy it, he said he could give it to me
but then id have to fix it
so um does anyone know how much its gonna cost to get it fixed
an estimate perhaps?
also, does Gamestop offer this kinda fixing service?
(its the only place i have access to without having my parents to drive me to the mall)

I imagine the price will depend on what exactly is wrong with it.

If it isn't physically damaged, and if it isn't that old, you could phone Sony and try and scam them into repairing it for you.

lol ummm
my friend bought this psp when it first came out
it was one first shipments of it, so im guessing the warranty ran out
(he said it was rare and could sell for a lot, if it were fixed. but im not so sure)

hmmm ... I think he might be thinking it's valuable as it probably has the original firmware, which was easy to hack and such, but which doesn't matter anymore, because of current hacking methods.

You could try phoning GameStop, and seeing what they say ... even if tghey don't fix them, they may be able to tell you a local place that does.

Is it like fried, or is it just bricked...you could just use pandoras and fix it

What part of it is broken? Dropped it and doesnt turn on? What?
