Hacking Broken DSL Need a littele help to mod it.

OK I broke the hinge and the mic, its over to years old.

my brother took it when he got me a DSi as a present, So he want to get a new mic, case and if there is one out there a battery that will last a lot longer.
the current battery lasts as long as a bran new on *I use the old method of killing the batty to give it full charge every 6 months, to keep it perfect* but i'm wondering is there a higher capacity battery that will fit and charge in the DSL.

Case - lots to choose from, some of poor quality but most are fine.

Mic - I have seen these in lots of places - eBay has a number of sellers

Larger battery - loads of sites say that they have larger capacity ones - However, I have tried several and to be honest most seemed to last less than a genuine standard battery, so yes in advertised MaH capacity, but not really in real use. Keep the original or buy a recharger unit (small device powered by batteries or a rechargable battery that will recharge the DS - usually at least a couple of full charges)
