OK im on 4.2 system menu...and somehow i downloaded a bad wad.
I don't have priiloader or bootmii but i heard about this savemiifrii thing?

Can Anyone help me or im screwed?

Why didn't you have Priiloader of BootMii? Guides tell you to install 'em for a reason you know.

Chances are high that Savemii won't do a thing for you since you'll need a modchip to autoboot anything from the recovery menu and would have to have a trucha-enabled IOS70 installed in order to boot fakesigned homebrew discs.

I dunno. Did you have cioscorp/darkcorp installed prior to bricking? Did you ever patch IOS70 so you could load fakesigned games from the SD Menu?

hmmm, broke the first golden rule bro, the second your Wii is hacked install bootmii or preloader.

Sure you don't have them installed ?

Hold your reset button while you power on your Wii just for the heck of it to see if you get a menu.

Patched IOS70? Okay, that's good. If you install a modchip, then you should be able to autoboot fakesigned discs using the savemii method. So you could load up a disc with wad manager and be good to go.

just read the you need a disk higher then you current menu..... so you may be screwed till higher then 4.2 is available on disk

If you can use savemiifrii and have a trucha patched system menu IOS and cios rev 14 or 17 installed to slot 249... then
you may not need a modchip at all Google my username and wii brick fixing discs you'll find them on gbatemp!
Download the first disc you'll be able to fix things with that!

Him having a fakesigned IOS70 ought to give him a few more options. Pretty sure that'll let him boot a homebrew disc.
