Hi, a few years ago i bricked my wii's theme with a us version instead of an eu version. I was kinda stupid that i did this.
So now if i boot it up it gives me a black screen.
Ofc i want to fix this but idk how, i have no priiloader or anything like that installed so i dont know what to do.
Maybe theres a hardware part available online so that i can install it or something but idk i just can find anything so i started this thread.
I hope you can help me with this.

Thanks,
Davey

Do you have bootmii or priiloader installed? (If you don't have priiloader installed and bootmii isn't boot2 then you're most likely screwed)

Just to be sure can you check if there's a folder called bootmii on your sd root?

I'm not too sure about modchips, I'm really only experienced with softmods

Yes there is a folder called bootmii but idk if i installed it.
I mustve watches a few tutorials on how to unbrick it and created that folder just to see if it worked. Maybe i installed it and forgot it

Just to see if your wii is recoverable replace bootmii.ini in the bootmii folder with this. (there's a bootmii.ini file in the archive) If that doesn't work try holding reset while powering on to see if you get the priiloader menu.

Before you give up someone with more knowledge might come along, although next time please setup proper brick protection before you install themes

Although one more possibility is bootmii doesn't like your sd, what size is it?

Its 8gb i also triee it on a 32gb both are fat32

there are mod chips you can buy that have autoboot enabled by default. then you could burn a disc with homebrew on it and it will boot the disc before it tries to load the system menu.
