This is a Wii I bricked in 2009. I removed IOS60 and I have no idea why. It should be 4.1 or something like that.

I doubt I have bootmii because I would have just restored it.

Any way to fix it, even with a hardware modification or something? I have a NAND-X and a USBJTAG.. and a Maximus xtractor which has a USB to serial port.. I'm willing to buy something else so long as it has a use besides the Wii..

So no system menu (I don't think), no savemifree

No nand backup... I'm guessing there's no way to dump the current nand and edit it because it's encrypted or something?

Thanks

Might be old enough to have bootmii installed as boot2. You should put an SD card with the appropriate bootmii files/folder in your wii and see if ur boots.

If the wii is old enough to have a vulnerable boot, you can install bootmii as boot2 to recover using an infectus modchip. I'm not sure if it would have any other applications though. @DeadlyFoez would know more.
