Hacking Bricked Switch?

Tried searching through many forum posts for similar issues but havn't found a solution. 'Accidentally' upgraded to 8.0 after being on 6.2 for a long while. During the update there was an atmosphere error screen and the console rebooted, but never turned back on.

I had auto RCM enabled, but when I connect the switch to my PC there is no notification noise letting you know a device is connected. The TegraRCM program is saying 'NO RCM' and I'm not able to inject the payload.

Battery was at ~70% before the update so that should be fine.
Tried holding the power button for 12-20+ seconds to power down but doesn't seem todo anything
Tried different USB ports and cables (all were fine as my other switch had no problem connecting)
Don't think it is a port issue on the switch as it worked fine 5 minutes before the update

Sooo, anyone got any ideas on a possible fix or am I just SOL?

You just need to download updated fresh atmos files. Updating removes autoRCM so you need another way to get back into RCM. You're not bricked.

I can't get into RCM or stock mode. Tried replacing fresh atmos files and still no sign of life. Also tried the jig P/V buttons and no RCM.

Forgot to mention the update was done the official way and not through Choji.

You have to get back to RCM. Paperclip, jig, foil, there are lots of ways. Just make sure to first push hekate payload and re-enable autoRCM. Then go from there.

After you have autoRCM enabled then use hekate to check your fuse count. Post the fuse count here.

Try unplugging your battery to hard reset it see if that work, might got into a state where the power button wouldn't respond.
