Hacking Bricked DSOne SDHC card

I used the DSOnei usb update dongle with my DSOne SDHC.

Now its bricked, two white screens when i launch it.

Any way to fix it?

You should be able to install the update again with the dongle.

Yup, if you deleted the fireware file, just put it on the microSD again and put it all in the dongle, it should work again.

but the DSOne SDHC didnt come with the update dongle, so there is also no update file available.

I hope you understand my problem, i flashed DSOne i firmware on a normal DSOne card, and now i cant restore.

I have seen this problem many times in Supercard forums, and i don't think it's possible to fix it by normal means (like using the firmware writer from the DS One i).
So far the only solution that i have found after checking in internet, with other users and checking the french Supercard forums, was to use a Supermate, but they seem to be pretty hard to find. Usually what people used to do was to send the bricked cards to a reputable user that had a Supermate and could fix them, but i don't know his forum name or anything like that.

what is a Supermate???
also, XD at thinking you could use the DSONEi update writer and magically turn your DSONE into a DSONEi. they have completely different hardware

Tough there's not a lot of info about it in the page, it's used to recover the firmware on broke DS One Supercards.
Believe it or not, it seems to be a common problem lately, i think it have seen like 8 cases or maybe more, tough some of the times it was done by mistake (since the cards have almost the same look).

You realize that this is why it isn't working, right? The DSOne and DSOnei appear similar, but they aren't exactly the same beast.

I will try to find a supermate, or does someone here can help me recover the card?

You *could* buy the SuperMate, but you'll be much better off by just buying a DSonei or wait a bit and get a DSTWO. Just saying.
